From Formica
Formica
| Formica is a low-cost, hackable, extensible, open-source swarm robotics platform. It can be used for swarm robotics research, microcontroller hacking and fun. You can buy a kit for £30 (~€33) which contains one mostly-assembled robot. You just have to solder on the motors, battery and a few through-hole components. Even if you've never soldered before, putting together a Formica robot shouldn't be too difficult. However, be prepared to do a bit of hacking and development; Formica is not a finished product! |
